MARCH CLASSES

Just Can't Cut It - This is a quick and easy quilt pattern. 

Perfect for beginners.  It has nice big pieces and is perfect

for large prints.  Class date:  Mar.  2nd, 11 AM - 4 PM. 

Cost:  $25.

Crazy Hearts - Stack, cut, shuffle and sew this Buggy Barn

pattern together.  Not hard to do, just make sure to follow

the directions carefully.   Class date:  Mar.  3rd,

10 AM - 3 PM.  Cost:  $32

Flower Pin Cushion - This is just too cute.  Make several for

gifts for your sewing/quilting friends.  Class date:  Mar. 4th,

10 AM -1 PM.  Cost:  $25 (includes pattern). 

Sand Castles - This is a shop favorite.  Pretty fabrics and easy

to sew blocks.  What could be better.  Class dates:  Mar 5th &

12th, 1 PM - 4 PM. Cost:  $30.

Athena's Puzzle -  This great quilt has been hanging in the

shop for the past few weeks.  You all love it and now it's

time for the class.  This pattern is perfect for batiks. 

Class date:  Mar. 6th, 11 AM - 3 PM.  Cost:  $25.

Northern Lights - This is a great bargello pattern created

by Nancy Smith.  Nancy will help you get this quilt top together

using an easy strip piecing process and a her unique puzzle piecing

technique.  Class dates: Mar. 9th & 30th, 10 AM - 3 PM. 

Cost:  $50.

Learn to quilt - Now is the perfect time to take up a new

hobby.  Quilting is fun and the fabrics are so beautiful. 

In this class, you will learn to use  a rotary cutter, piece

your blocks and add borders.  You will also learn to sandwich,

machine quilt your top and put your binding on.  This four

part class meets  Mar. 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st from

10 AM - 1 PM.  Cost:  $65.

Magic Stack n Whack -  We are bringing back a shop

favorite.  If you have never tried this technique, you are

in for a treat.  Pick a great border fabric and watch the

magic happen when you cut the fabric.  Class dates: 

Mar. 11th and Apr. 1st, 1 - 5 PM.  Cost:  $35.

Fire Escape-  Choose your size, lap to queen.  This quilt top

will go together fast, just be sure to have an accurate seam

allowance. This pattern is easy enough for a confident beginner. 

Class date: Mar. 16th, 11 - 3 PM.  Cost:  $30.

Sided Placemat -  This is a fun class.  Watch the magic

happen as you sew the fabric together.  These placemats will

make great gifts.  Class date:  Mar. 17, 1 PM - 4 PM.

Jacob's Jazz Table Runner - This runner is simple to make yet

looks very complicated.  It only takes two fabrics and is fine for

any level quilter.  Class date:  Mar. 23rd, 1 - 5 PM.  Cost:  $25.

Fishy Collage - This is just a fun little class.  We will be doing

some embellishing and free motion quilting.  No rules to follow in

this class.  Class date:  Mar.  25th, 10 AM - 4 PM.  Cost:  $35.

APRIL CLASSES

Ramblin Runner -  This is an easy bargello table runner.  Choose three

colors and you are ready to begin.  Class date: Apr. 2nd,

11 AM  - 4 PM.  Cost:  $22.

Day and Night Quilt -  This is a great Eleanor Burns pattern. 

Choose a light and a dark fabric and you are ready to go.  It all 

fits together so nice.   The template is included in the book which

makes it even better.  Class date:  Apr.3rd, 11 AM - 3 PM. 

Cost:  $30.

Merry Mosaic - From lap to king, you will enjoy making this quilt

top.  Stop in and see our sample, it is real pretty.  Use Jelly Rolls,

Bali Pops, fat quarters  or 1/4 yard cuts.  Class dates:  Apr.6th &

20th, 1 - 4 PM.  Cost:  $35.

Crazy Curves - If you thought curves were too hard, think again. 

You will be cutting and sewing  this quilt top in no time.  It's a

perfect pattern for all those beautiful  Batiks.  Class date: Apr. 7th,

1 - 4 PM.  Cost:  $35 (includes pattern and large template).

Learn to Paper Piece -  This is a great technique to learn. 

The possibilities are endless.  With paper piecing your points

come out perfect every time. Class date:  Apr. 9th, 1 - 4 PM. 

Cost:  $25 (includes pattern).

Winding Road Bargello - This bargello pattern is perfect for

those confident  beginners.   Watch the pattern come to life as

you begin to sew.This two part class meets on Apr.

10th & 24th, 11 AM - 2 PM.  Cost:  $40.
